A prarabdha karma is what we simply know as destiny. It is what is in store for us. Our reward, waiting to be actualized. Our sorrows, poising to poison us. All the seeds we have sown in this life and the countless past ones, bear themselves as the fruits called as Prarabdh.

Why Hindus are not armed?

The right to bear arms along with firearms was taken away by the #british from Bharatiyas as a display of the martial crackdown following the aftermath of the First Sepoy Mutiny of 1857. This ban was enacted in order to curtail any physically violent upheaval against the then British Raj. Overnight, society and subparts of it, which have been carrying weapons with them for thousands of years were snatched away of their right vested in them by their lineage and their kula parampara.

Motivation behind the ban

If a tyrannical regime faces resistance from the subjects, it eventually takes away the means and tools by which the resistance grows strong. If the resistance grows strong via exposing the insecurities and vile nature of the current regime, it censors every content consumed by the public; if its done vocally by the champions of the populace, the regime responds with assassinations or putting them behind bars. Similarly when the people resists physically, the tyrants take away their weapons as they are the primary tools that strengthen the resistance.

Why do people resist?

People resist when they find the governing body directly interfering with their natural rights of self-preservation and the preservation of their identities.
